Our Story

Welcome to The Buzz Coffee & Cafe! We are so glad you are here!

It all began when father and daughter duo, Mike and Jasmine, decided to quit their jobs and begin a life as restaurateurs in 2016. The two (along with their family) set out on a mission to establish a cafe that offers responsibly and ethically sourced coffee, expertly roasted to perfection alongside a menu featuring the most delicious and unique waffles (as well as sandwiches, egg plates, and bakery items) ever to be savored. They hoped to create a haven where people in the community could gather, unwind, disconnect so they could connect with their friends and family.

Our Roots:

Nestled in the heart of Burnsville, Minnesota, The Buzz was born out of a love for bringing people together over a great cup of coffee and delicious food. Every corner of our cafe reflects our commitment to providing an inviting space for you to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Our Philosophy:

At The Buzz Coffee & Cafe, we believe in the power of life’s little things - a freshly brewed cup of coffee, a friendly smile, and a moment of pause in a busy day. We source our beans from local roasters, handpick the freshest ingredients for our food, and pour our hearts into every drink we make.
